The South Delhi Superstarz (SDS) will take on the East Delhi Riders (EDR) in Match 2 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, August 1.

The Superstarz will be coming into this season with a point to prove after being beaten in the Eliminator of the previous season. They will be led by batter Ayush Badoni and have procured the signing of the highly rated wicketkeeper-batter Tejasvi Dahiya in the auction. 

The Riders were beaten in the second qualifier in 2025, losing their way just miles close to the final. They will be looking to put up a better showing this season and would like to start with a win.
