Pakistan (PAK) are all set to lock horns with the United States of America (USA) at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Doha, Colombo, on Tuesday, February 10, in match No. 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Pakistan played the tournament opener and won the clash by a narrow three wickets to start their campaign. Having clinched a win in the previous game, they might be confident, but the scars of the upset the USA handed them in the 2024 edition of the competition are still fresh and will look to get revenge.

Meanwhile, the Monank Patel-led team met defending champions, India, in their first game, and put up an impressive performance until Suryakumar Yadav’s knock and the Indian bowlers got the team back and clinched a 29-run win.

Afghanistan (AFG) will lock horns with Nepal (NEP) at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Friday, September 25, in match No. 4 of the Men’s Asian Games 2026.

The Blue Tigers, Afghanistan, are not at their full strength, with many regular players not available, like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and T20I captain Ibrahim Zadran. Darwish Rasooli has been appointed captain for this assignment. In the first game, Afghanistan were restricted to 129/6 by Japan. However, the hosts were eventually bowled out for 81.

Meanwhile, Nepal are going to get their campaign started on Friday. They are at full-strength, which will make them slight favourites heading into the clash. Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Lamichhane are two key players to watch out for in this team.

Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin: Pitch Report

It will be a test of patience for the batters of Friday. The conditions won’t be in their favour and it will be important to grind out runs. Spinners are going to play an important role in both innings. The captain who wins the toss might bowl first. However, chasing anything above 140 won’t be easy.

Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin: Pitch Report

The pitch is expected to help the spinners. From the first two games, it is quite clear that batters will have to grind it out in the middle as the conditions are not going to be suitable for free-flowing batting. The power play overs are going to be the best time to score some quick runs.

Zimbabwe vs Australia Prediction, 1st ODI – Who will win today’s match between ZIM vs AUS?

Zimbabwe (ZIM) take on Australia (AUS) in the first ODI in a three-match series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Tuesday, September 15.

The Chevrons played their most recent ODI series in July against Bangladesh in Harare. They won the first two matches by the barest of margins before being outplayed in the third. The 2-1 series win will give them confidence heading into the clash against Australia, who will pose a much stiffer challenge.

On the other hand, Australia’s last ODI assignment was also against Bangladesh. This series was played in Dhaka in June. An inexperienced Australian side lost the first two matches without giving much fight. They won the last game by one wicket but it only served as a consolation as the series was lost 2-1.

Harare Sports Club: Pitch Report

The Harare Sports Club in Harare is expected to provide a surface where there is going to be a good contest between bat and ball. Fast bowlers could play a crucial role in the game as the high altitude could help them get some good bounce. The new-ball spells are also going to be important. The captain who wins the toss would want to bowl first to take advantage of early moisture which could be there on offer.

ZIM vs AUS: Predicted Playing 11s

Zimbabwe (ZIM):

Ben Curran, Brian Bennett, Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor,  Sikandar Raza (C), Tadiwanashe Marumani (WK), Ryan Burl, Brad Evans, Wellington Masakadza, Newman Nyamhuri, Blessing Muzarabani.

Australia (AUS):

Mitchell Marsh (C), Travis Head, Cooper Connolly, Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Alex Carey (WK), Xavier Bartlett, Adam Zampa, Nathan Ellis, Josh Hazlewood, Spencer Johnson.

ZIM vs AUS: Probable Best Performers of the Match:

Probable Best Batter: Cooper Connolly

Cooper Connolly played a remarkable knock in the last ODI played by Australia. The opening batter scored 149 off 134 balls in testing conditions and helped Australia avoid a whitewash. He is likely to move to No. 3 with the returns of Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh. Expect the southpaw to play a key role.

Probable Best Bowler: Blessing Muzarabani

Blessing Muzarabani has been Australia’s nemesis in the past. He is going to be the bowler to watch out for on Tuesday. His height gives him an added advantage, especially at a venue where there is good carry for the pacers. If he gets his lines right, he could be quite a handful for the Aussies.
