Vanzekin Questions Nwabali’s Exit From Chippa United

Former Nigeria goalkeeper Ambrose Vanzekin has expressed surprise at Stanley Nwabali’s decision to part ways with Chippa United, describing the move as worrying for Nigeria’s current first-choice goalkeeper.

Vanzekin said the timing of the decision raises concerns, especially with Nwabali’s status at the national level and the importance of regular club football.

“It is surprising and worrying,” Vanzekin said. “A goalkeeper of his level needs stability, protection and proper guidance. Staying without a club is not good, especially for Nigeria’s number one.”
