Report: Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle close to top Moroccan club

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is close to agreeing a contract with top Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca (WAC), according to Le7TV.

The report by the leading Moroccan television said Eric Chelle will replace Amine Benhachem despite the victory at the weekend over UTS.

They are second in the league with 29 points from 12 matches, a point behind leaders city rivals Raja Casablanca.

The report further claimed that Eric Chelle is excited to lead a top club like WAC.

This comes as observers have raised questions over the loyalty of the coach to the Super Eagles as he still has a year left on his contract with the NFF.

“Is he not disrespecting Nigeria by discussing with other teams while he still has a running contract with Nigeria?” one observer asked rhetorically.
