HALFTIME: Super Eagles 2 Jordan 1
Super Eagles come from behind to lead 2-1 against Jordan going into the break in this friendly in Turkey.
With as many as six changes to the Starting XI from the Iran match at the weekend, Nigeria pushed forward for the opening goal.
However, it was World Cup-bound Jordan who took the lead in the 17th minute through Mousa Altamari.
Nigeria thought they had drawn level moments later, but the effort was chalked off.
They finally made their dominance count in the 24th minute, when captain on the day Moses Simon drew them level.
Jordan again came close to restoring their lead in the 38th minute, but they missed the mark narrowly.
The Super Eagles then took the lead four minutes from the break when a loose ball found an unmarked Emmanuel Fernandez, who was cool under pressure to fire home with the left foot.

In the earlier game of this four-nation tournament, Iran trounced Costa Rica 5-0.
The spirited Jordanians took the lead against the run of play in the 17th minute courtesy of Mousa Altamari, whose free kick from distance beat Francis Uzoho in goal for Nigeria.
An effort by Nigeria soon after was ruled out by the referee, before stand-in captain Moses Simon restored parity on 24 minutes.
The Super Eagles then went in front in the 41st minute, when an unmarked central defender Emmanuel Fernandez justified his first start with a coolly taken goal.
In the second half, Nigeria pressed on for more goals with Frank Onyeka and Fernandez coming close to increasing the lead.
In the 58th minute, goalkeeper Uzoho was replaced by Adebayo Adeleye after he suffered an injury that forced him out of the contest.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi came on to stablise the Super Eagles midfield.
Adeleye made a point-blank save in the 74th minute, when he made himself big against the Jordanian striker to only concede a corner.
However, three minutes later Jordan drew level with a great team goal.
It was a fitting reward for their attacking appetite as they kept chasing the game in the second half.
In the 78th minute, Iwobi missed a good chance after he was set up by Jerome Akor.
In the closing moments of the encounter, the Fulham star was sent off after a scuffle involving both teams.
Super Eagles Starting XI vs Jordan: Uzoho (Adeleye 58) – Zaidu, Osayi-Samuel, Ogbu, Fernandez – Onyedika (Iwobi 59), Onyeka,(Otele 80) Moses Simon (Chukwueze 80), Yira Sor (Ndidi 59) – Akor, Lookman

Uzoho starts for Super Eagles in place of injured Maduka Okoye
Francis Uzoho will start in goal for the Super Eagles in tomorrow’s friendly against 2026 World Cup-bound Jordan.
SCORENigeria has learnt the Cyprus-based shot stopper has been picked ahead of Adebayo Adeleye to replace Maduka Okoye, who suffered a thigh injury in training.
Uzoho was Nigeria’s No 1 goalkeeper at 2018 World Cup in Russia, but lost his place in the team after arch-rivals Ghana qualified for the 2022 World Cup at the expense of the Super Eagles.
The 27-year-old Uzoho, who made his Super Eagles debut in 2017, was in goal in a group game against Uganda at the recent AFCON in Morocco, which Nigeria won 3-1.
He has won 36 caps for Nigeria/
