Super Eagles star warns against Zadok transfer

Published

on

A former Super Eagles forward has cautioned against a big-money transfer for youngster Zadok Yohanna.

Zadok, 18, has taken football in Sweden by storm after he scored the winning goal in an opening day victory for AIK in the Swedish top league.

However, Peter Ijeh, who played for several top Swedish clubs including Malmo FF and was also capped by the Super Eagles, has warned that it is early days for the young winger to venture outside Sweden.

Ijeh said there is no need for him to rush a big transfer and rather he should establish himself first at AIK before he makes the big move.

It is too early to take such a step ,” Ijeh told Soccernet.

“He needs to establish himself and be consistent, and in this way strengthen his CV. Everything else will fall into place then.”

AIK are asking for no less than 15 million euros for the electrifying winger, but several other reports have now suggested they are seeking between 20 and 25 million euros.
