The chief executive officer of Sagamu-based Grass Runners FC, Victor Olugbenga Agbejoye has given credit to his club’s management, officials, staff, coaching crew and partners for the giant strides achieved by the team this season, Sports247 reports.

Agbejoye said it was a confirmation that the club’s dream of getting 30 of its products into clubs of Europe’s top-five leagues by the year 2030 is highly realisable and can even be achieved faster than they initially envisaged.
He added that a huge part of his personal satisfaction was seeing how his players dominated individual awards of the N-YLC for the outgoing season, despite losing 2-0 to Sporting Supreme FC of Abuja during the recent Super-8 final in Uyo.
One of the squad’s brightest talents, Abdoulaye Agbejoye emerged as best player and highest scorer, after netting 19 goals during the campaign, much to the delight of the club’s CEO, who declared that it’s all about hard work and favour from God.
The amiable youth developer, whom close pals fondly called ‘World Best,’ added that his biggest strategy for success is aligning with God’s vision and following His divine purpose in life, while having a good crew makes the task easier.
Agbejoye affirmed, “The whole staff of this club are simply amazing. They are the reason for our success. Many times, I marvel at the speed at which we are going, It’s simply phenomenal. With the pace we are going, our target of 30 players in Europe by 2030 is not just a dream, it’s a reality.”
