How Atletico Madrid could reunite Osimhen with Ademola Lookman
Atlético Madrid are closely monitoring Galatasaray 27-year-old centre-forward Victor Osimhen for a summer transfer.
It is claimed that the Madrid club will seek to sign the player at the end of the season, and coach Diego Simeone has reportedly approved adding the Nigerian forward, who has 52 caps for his country, to the transfer list.
The Spanish club may first consider offers for Alexander Sörloth, and if a sale is profitable, they could act more quickly to sign Osimhen. The potential fee Atlético Madrid might offer is currently unspecified.
The player’s decision will be decisive in the transfer, as he had previously rejected major European clubs to sign a permanent deal with Galatasaray in the summer transfer window.
Osimhen has scored nine goals in 15 Süper Lig appearances this season and has also been linked with other clubs, including Juventus, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
His contract with the Turkish club runs until 2029. Recent reports from October 2025 and January 2026 state that Galatasaray has set an asking price of €140 million.
The Turkish champions reportedly signed him for €75 million.

Victor Osimhen scored his 10th goal in the Turkish Super Lig tonight.
Galatasaray beat Alanyaspor 3-1 at home to consolidate their leadership of the Super Lig with Osimhen netting the third goal in the 83rd minute.
It was a gift presented to the Super Eagles striker by the opposing goalkeeper.
This was moments after he was denied at point-blank range by the same goalkeeper.
He also assisted for his team’s second goal.
Galatasaray now have 58 points from 24 matches, five points clear of second-placed Fenerbache, who have a game in hand.

Turkish Super Lig leading scorer Paul Onuachu has boasted that his hard work, quality and goals have done the talking for him as he has not had to pay the media to hype him.
Onuachu is the leading scorer in Turkey with 18 goals and two assists.
The 31-year-old striker posted on social media: “No paid media. No bought hype. Just hard work, quality and goals.”
In his previous stint with Trabzonspor, he fired 15 goals.

Adedire Mebude combined with fellow Nigerian Ibrahim Olawoyin to score his first goal for Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig today.
The 21-year-old winger from the Manchester City Academy completed the 3-0 routing of home team Kasimpasa in the 80th minute with an assist by Olawoyin.
He earned a personal rating of 8.0 points, while Olawoyin was awarded 7.4 points.
Rizespor are 10th in the standings with 27 points from 24 matches.
