NFF technical committee calls only for applications for national team posts – Ikpeba
The NFF technical committee has only asked for interested coaches to apply for the vacant positions in the Nigeria U23, the Flying Eagles, Golden Eaglets and Flamingos.
The committee has therefore not listed coaches for those positions and recommended them to the NFF executive committee.
“The technical committee has advertised the coaching positions for various national teams, namely the Nigeria U23, the Flying Eagles, the Golden Eaglets and the Flamingos,” technical committee member Ikpeba told SCORENigeria
“At no time did we list coaches for the national teams because we want only the best hands to help revive our various youth teams.
“We want to receive these applications within a week as has been our practice, ensure that we recommend suitably qualified coaches, who will reposition our youth teams.
“We must get our youth football development right and part of doing so is to get the coaches who can do this.”

Victor Osimhen scored his 10th goal in the Turkish Super Lig tonight.
Galatasaray beat Alanyaspor 3-1 at home to consolidate their leadership of the Super Lig with Osimhen netting the third goal in the 83rd minute.
It was a gift presented to the Super Eagles striker by the opposing goalkeeper.
This was moments after he was denied at point-blank range by the same goalkeeper.
He also assisted for his team’s second goal.

Turkish Super Lig leading scorer Paul Onuachu has boasted that his hard work, quality and goals have done the talking for him as he has not had to pay the media to hype him.
Onuachu is the leading scorer in Turkey with 18 goals and two assists.
The 31-year-old striker posted on social media: “No paid media. No bought hype. Just hard work, quality and goals.”
In his previous stint with Trabzonspor, he fired 15 goals.

Adedire Mebude combined with fellow Nigerian Ibrahim Olawoyin to score his first goal for Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig today.
The 21-year-old winger from the Manchester City Academy completed the 3-0 routing of home team Kasimpasa in the 80th minute with an assist by Olawoyin.
He earned a personal rating of 8.0 points, while Olawoyin was awarded 7.4 points.
Rizespor are 10th in the standings with 27 points from 24 matches.
