Swedish club confirm interests for new sensation Zadok
Swedish club AIK have confirmed there have been interests in youngster Zadok Yohanna after his super start to the new season.
Eighteen-year-old winger Zadok crowned a five-star performance with the winning goal for AIK to beat Halmstad 2-1 on the opening day of the season last weekend.
The buzz from such a sensational start has attracted the interests of clubs, according to AIK recruitment manager Miika Takkula.
“He has started the season well so it is obvious that there is interest from outside, which is positive for the player and for the club, said Takkula.
“But now we are just focused on helping him develop even more. There is still room for improvement.”
When Fotbollskanalen asked if he has received many questions about Zadok from agents, scouts and club representatives, he turned around and laughed heartily.
“Let’s say there is interest,” Takkula replied.
The phone has run hot, quite simply.
The recruitment manager did not want to talk about individual clubs that are scouting/showing interest, but when asked if these are big clubs, he calmly stated: “It is obvious that clubs have noted that he has done well with us, and that he has an interesting profile.”
Have there already been bids for him or is it too early for it to be that concrete?
“Hehe, as I said earlier, there is interest. That’s what I can comment on,” Takkula answered and smiled again.
The Finn said he feels confident that the young winger will handle the upheaval well, saying he sees no risk of him floating away.
“It helps that we have an attitude that is about the collective. Our head coach talks all the time about the collective performance and being part of a collective,” he assured.

Yamal: I want Osimhen at Barcelona
The sensational Lamine Yamal has made it clear that he wishes to play alongside Victor Osimhen at Barcelona in the coming season.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Yamal has indicated a clear preference for Barcelona to sign Galatasaray striker Osimhen.
Osimhen, 27, is reportedly one of several top strikers on the shopping list of the Catalan giants with Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid as well as Harry Kane from Bayern Munich also being mentioned.
Experts believe that the exciting wing play and delivery of Yamal will best be complimented by the directness and aggression of Osimhen inside the box.
Galatasaray are willing to co-operate on a transfer, but Barcelona will have to break the bank to sign the Super Eagles striker.
The latest valuation by Galatasaray of Osimhen is 150 million euros, double what they bought him last summer from Napoli.

Bundesliga club again raise concerns over Victor Boniface
Werder Bremen coach has again hit out on the physical fitness of striker Victor Boniface.
Coach Daniel Thioune first described the Super Eagles striker as “obese” and now he has again raised serious concerns over his fitness as the German Bundesliga season approaches the home stretch.
“The truth is, we assumed that Victor would return to us in better physical condition,” the Bremen coach said.
“In a normal world, we’re still a few days too early. I would therefore rule out Victor getting on the bus to Cologne Saturday.
“Our squad depth in attack is very thin. If a spot opens up, he might travel with us.
“Victor has our and my protection. Therefore, there will be no blame assigned, but I also have to protect our team. A player who isn’t fit to play will not return to the squad.”
Victor Boniface underwent knee surgery in January and was initially thought will not play again this season.
