France bounced back from a shock loss to Cote d’Ivoire with Michael Olise firing a hat-trick against Northern Ireland and coach Didier Deschcamps praising his class.

“He is shining, just like during his season at Bayern. Everything is easy for him. He is effective and that is fantastic. We will also need other players,” remarked Deschamps.

Bayern Munich star Olise scored all three goals as France defeated Northern Ireland 3-1.

He gave “Les Bleus” the lead at the end of the first half, extended it at the start of the second and sealed the final result with an elegant long-range shot.

France will play their World Cup opener on June 16 against Senegal, and then face Iraq and Norway.
