Following departures of several key players, new look Express host Entebbe UPPC at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo seeking to start the second round on a winning note.

The Red Eagles have lost Richard Basangwa, Muhammad Ssenoga, Hakim Wandera and Rashid Kawawa to NEC thus Richard Kintu has decisions to make on new faces.

Against the Entebbe based side that won the reverse fixture 2-0, they face a team unbeaten on the road and want to keep winning to close in on the leading pack.

Abdallah Mubiru’s side who are missing creative midfielder Kawawa are on 30 points in fourth place and will be slight favourites against the seven-time champions.

However, second team coach Godfrey Walusimbi is aware of the threat Express posses especially with their big game and unpredictability.

“We have respect for them because they are a big club,” he told the club media. “And after losing their key players, they are unpredictable but for now, we are concentrating on ourselves and we want to do well and win,” he added.

  • In the past seven premier league meeting, both sides have won twice drawing three. Entebbe UPPC has won the last two though.

On the same day, SC Villa will lock horns with URA in the late kick off at the same venue.
