Super Agent: Why Ademola Lookman transfer to Galatasaray failed
The Super Agent who made Victor Osimhen transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray to happen has given reasons why he could not pull off the same move for fellow Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman.
George Gardi made a name for himself when he swung the Osimhen transfers, both the loan and the permanent deals.
He could not do same with Ademola Lookman.
He recounted: “I tried it with (Ademola) Lookman last summer after his deal with Inter Milan fell through; I wanted to repeat the Osimhen operation – A loan and a purchase option.
“But he didn’t want to leave the club.
“I tried again in January, but this time the demands from Bergamo club (Atalanta) were too high.”
Ademola Lookman has since joined La Liga club Atletico Madrid.
