Galatasaray President: Osimhen extraordinary
The Galatasaray President has said as a fan, Victor Osimhen is one of the most exciting strikers in the history of the club, describing him as “extraordinary”.
Galatasaray President Dursun Ozbek said: “Among centre-forwards who have come to Galatasaray throughout history, Victor Osimhen is the player who excites me the most after Metin Oktay. Extraordinary.
“We follow Osimhen with admiration even when watching him in training. He performs there as if he’s in match tempo. We’re afraid he’ll get injured.”
Galatasaray splashed a record-breaking 75 million euros to sign him last summer from Napoli.
The Turkish champions now want more than double to sell him before his contract runs out in June 2029.
This season, he has scored seven goals in the UEFA Champions League and 10 goals in the Turkish Super Lig.
