Super Eagles-eligible goalkeeper wanted by Italian giants

Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu, who is eligible to play for the Super Eagles, has been linked with Italian giants Juventus.

Juventus led by sports director Comolli have identified the goalkeeper position as one of the main areas to improve, and Noah Atubolu of Freiburg has been discussed in recent days.

The 23-year-old German goalkeeper is having a statistically high-level season, marked by consistent performance and steady growth that have established him among European goalkeepers, making 24 appearances in the Bundesliga this season.

Atubolu, who has yet to be capped by the German national team, is under contract with SC Freiburg until June 2027.

His current market value is €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In February 2026, it was reported that SC Freiburg’s asking price was €30 million.

The player has also recently been linked with Inter and Tottenham Hotspur.
