Japeth Aguilar claims 3rd PBA All-Star MVP as North rallies past South
CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur — Team Solid North kept its mastery of the Solid South following a 147-142 victory in the PBA Season 50 All-Star Game on Sunday night at the Candon City Arena here.
Justin Arana powered the decisive run that put them up for good from down 135-125 early in the fourth quarter, before Japeth Aguilar threw down a three-point dunk for the dagger with 24.6 seconds left to play.
The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel star would go on to win All-Star Game MVP honors after helping the North extend its winning streak against the South for six games now.
