The Super Eagles will now play friendlies against 2026 World Cup-bound teams Jordan and Iran in Turkey, the Jordan Football Association (JFA) have announced.

This announcement thus put to rest speculations over the fate of the four-nation tournament originally billed for the Jordanian capital city of Amman following the war in the Middle East.

The Jordan FA announced on their official website that the tournament will now be staged in Antalya, Turkey.

The dates scheduled for these series of friendlies remain unchanged.

The JFA said the change in venue was necessitated by “the current situation in the region and the limited movement of people”.

The Super Eagles will take on Iran on Friday, March 27, before they face first-time World Cup qualifiers Jordan four days later.

Costa Rica will also feature in the tournament.
