Happy Boyz Kagaba Football Club became the first club to qualify for the quarter final of the 52nd Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The Kassanda district based entity eliminated Six O’Clock 5-4 in post match penalties at Kagaba Primary School playgrounds in Kassanda district on Monday, 16th March 2026.

Normal time of this round of 16 contest had ended goal-less before post-match penalties were called to decide the winner.

The round of 16 duels continue on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, throughout the week.

On Tuesday, the MTN Omondi stadium has a double header; NEC playing Lugazi in the early kick off (3 PM) before KCCA shall take on Onduparaka at 7 PM.

The successful clubs will progress to the quarter final stage ahead of the draw that will be supervised by the FUFA Competitions department.

The winner of the Uganda Cup earns the ticket to play at the CAF Confederation Cup.

Vipers Sports Club is the reigning champion.
