Leaders Rivers United have stumbled again in the NPFL title race after they lost their second straight match.

The match winner for Tornadoes was Terdoo Shimagande, who hit target in the 67th minute.

Visitors Rivers United were reduced to 10 men in stoppage time when Maclyn Biokpo.

They also lost their previous rescheduled game at Ikorodu City.

However, Rivers United remain top of the standings with 52 points from 30 matches, a point ahead of second-placed Enugu Rangers.
