Doma United first club to win promotion to NPFL
Doma United have shot their way back to the NPFL two years after they were relegated.
The Gombe outfit beat visiting Mighty Jets of Jos 2-0 Wednesday to top NNL Conference C with an unassailable 26 points from 13 matches.
‘The Savannah Tigers’ are five points clear of second-placed Basira FC with a round of matches to the end of the season.
They scored 17 goals and conceded eight goals, while they will now play their final game away at Kada Warriors.
Thereafter, they will shift attention to the NNL Super 4 slated for Ikenne next month to determine the overall champions of the second-tier NNL.
