Iganga United Football Club sacks entire technical staff

Management of FUFA Big League side Iganga United Football Club has terminated the services of their entire technical docket.

Abdulsamadu Daba Musafiri (head coach) alongside his two assistant coaches Victor Menya and Edgar Luzige were all relieved of their duties with immediate effect.

“Iganga United Football Club would like to thank you for the dedication and contribution in your role” the official club statement signed by the CEO Din Shariff applauded.

“After careful review of the team’s performance and technical progress, management has resolved to part ways with you… This decision has been made in the best interest of the club as we aim to enhance overall performance and meet our objectives” the statement added.

“We appreciate your service and professionalism during your time with Iganga United Football Club and wish you continued success in your future career” the statement concluded.

The development comes as the final bend of the 2025/26 season comes knocking where Iganga United is 11th on the 16-team log with 24 points, having won 7 times, drawn thrice and lost 10 times.

The latest defeat came away from home 0-1 away to Kataka at Mbale city stadium.
