Arthur Okonkwo promises to be ‘consistent performer’ for Super Eagles
Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who is set to make his Super Eagles debut at the forthcoming Unity Cup in London, has said he hopes to be “a consistent performer” for the national team.

Okonkwo has successfully changed his international allegiance to Nigeria after he represented England at age-grade levels.
“I want to be a consistent performer for the country, someone they can trust in their goal for every game,” he said in an interview
“But it’s a process to get there. I have to integrate with the team, learn the way we play, connect with my defenders, connect with everyone on the pitch.
“It’s a process and I want to work towards this.”
The former Arsenal Academy star said it is an honour to play for Nigeria and he has been looking forward to this for some time now.
