Why top target David Ozoh stayed away from Super Eagles
England-based midfielder David Ozoh, who was widely expected to be called up by the Super Eagles for the Unity Cup, opted out because he wishes to focus on a summer transfer.
Ozoh impressed on his second loan stint at Derby County and now he plans a transfer away from parent club Crystal Palace.
Sources familiar with the situation said Ozoh does not want to be distracted or injured as he sorts out his club future.
Ozoh, 21, made 33 appearances, scored twice this past season as Derby County narrowly missed out on the promotion playoffs to the Premier League.
