Spain beat Portugal 1-0 in the round of 16 during the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the Dallas stadium on Monday, 6th July.
Mikel Merino scored in the 91st minute to inspire Spain to their first quarter final since the triumphant 2010 year in South Africa.
Spain will take on the winner between United States of America (USA) and Belgium during the quarter final on 10th July 2026 in Inglewood.
They join England, Norway, Morocco, France, the other already qualified countries at the quarter final stage.
