Could it be a case of a jealous girlfriend now trying to get back at Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga?

Daga, 19, has been sentenced to six months in jail by a Norwegian court for having sex without consent from his partner.

The Molde FK star has maintained his innocence and will appeal this judgment his lawyer has said.

SCORENigeria has since gathered more details on this sizzling love drama in Norway.

A source close to the player told SCORENigeria that Daga was romantically involved with the girl in question after she said she fancied the Nigerian player when she came along with the girlfriend of another player.

However, the romance then took a turn for the worse when she found out she was not the only woman in Daga’s life and so in other to get her pound of flesh back, she came up with this rape story.

“Everything was fine when the girl was going out with Daga, but when she found out she was not the only girl, she decided to frame the boy,” the source revealed.

“He will come out of this mess.”
