SCORENigeria can exclusively report that the Super Eagles are locked in a fresh bonus row with the NFF.

It was specially gathered that the Super Eagles have demanded that they be paid semifinal win bonus of $17,000-a-man for finishing third at the last AFCON in Morocco.

They lost the semifinal to hosts Morocco via penalties, before they went on to win also through a penalty shootout the third-place match against Egypt.

Sources informed SCORENigeria that the NFF have not responded positively to this demand by the players.

It would be recalled that last November the team staged a pay strike on the eve of CAF final 2026 World Cup Playoffs also in Morocco before the intervention of the Government.
