Super Falcons star undergoes surgery
Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia defender Ashleigh Plumptre has undergone surgery on her left foot.
The surgery is reported to be successful.
Plumptre, who featured at the Falcons triumphant 2024 WAFCON, is set to be fully recovered in time for the postponed 2026 WAFCON in July.
Her Saudi Arabian club are second in the league standings after 12 rounds of matches.
