Titan Ultra averted disaster and ultimately sneaked past Blackwater, 102-98, for its second win in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup, Wednesday.

The Giant Risers squandered a big 20-point lead and trailed a couple of times during the second half, but Joshua Munzon & Co. sorted things out among themselves in time to make sure that no collapse would take place.

Munzon scored six in a crucial 8-2 run, none bigger than the four-point play he knocked down under duress to make it a 102-94 lead with 1:29 left, all but sealing the deal for the new franchise toward hiking its win-loss record to 2-3.

Munzon top-scored for Titan Ultra with 25 points alongside four rebounds and four assists as they bounced back from that stinging loss to Meralco the last time out.
