Will Onyedika succeed Arokodare as Ebony Boot winner?
Tolu Arokodare won the Ebony Boot for the best African player in Belgium last season and now compatriot and fellow Super Eagles star Raphael Onyedika has again been nominated for the top award.
Arokodare was top scorer of the Belgian top league last season with 21 goals and crowned his exploits to join the likes of Godwin Okpara, Victor Ikpeba and Celestine Babayaro to scoop the Ebony Boot.
Onyedika was also on the five-man short list for the award last season.
This season, the Club Brugge midfielder will battle for the top prize along with former Nigeria U23 star Promise David, his Union Gilloise teammate Adem Zorgane, Zakaria El Ouahdi (Genk) and Parfait Guiagon (Charleroi).
The awards ceremony is billed for May 4.
