Awoniyi helps Forest to win big for Premier League survival
Taiwo Awoniyi came off the bench again to help Nottingham Forest thrash home team Sunderland 5-0 and go eight points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
Awoniyi, brought on in the 88th minute, assisted for the fifth Forest goal deep into additional time as they stepped up their fight to stay up.
Compatriot and fellow Super Eagles teammate Ola Aina played the entire duration for Forest.
Forest now have 39 points from 34 matches, eight points clear of Tottenham, who are the third team in the drop zone.
Wolves and Burnley have already been relegated from the English top flight.
