Wolves recruitment report: Arokodare signing ‘a mess’
A recruitment report by Wolves has faulted the signing of Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare.
Arokodare joined Wolves from Genk after he finished as top scorer of the Belgian league after he scored 21 goals.
According to The Express & Star, the transfer process was described as “a mess”, highlighting significant disagreements between the club management and coaching staff.
The report claimed that former Wolves manager Vitor Pereira made it clear that Arokodare did not fit the profile of the striker he wanted.
However, despite his reservations, he was overruled.
This further explained why Arokodare was only signed on Deadline Day.
Arokodare is now expected to leave Wolves after they were relegated from the Premier League.
