U.S.M Alger Vs Zamalek: Two Ugandan officials appointed for CAF Confederation Cup final

Two Ugandan officials have been appointed by Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final between U.S.M Alger (Algeria) and Zamalek (Egypt) at the Alger Stade 5 Juillet due on Saturday, 9th May 2026.

Vastly experienced safety and security officer Dixon Adol “Bond” Okello and Harunah Mawanda are in charge of the security operations and match commissioning respectively.

Okello will execute the security operations with Marcel Achille Aime Ekani Nkoa from Cameroon.

The center referee for this highly explosive contest is Dahane Beida from Mauritania.

The Mauritanian will work with Jerson Emiliano Dos Emiliano Dos Santos (Angola) and Elvis Guy Noupue Nguegoue (Cameroon) as first and assistant referees respectively.

Others:

The fourth official is another Mauritanian, Abdel Aziz Bouh and the referee assessor as Lidya Tafesse Abebe from Ethiopia.

The general coordinator is Malian Mady Diallo whilst the assistant general coordinator is Alioune Massa Diarra from Mauritania.

There are two media officers appointed; Mohamed Adel Hadji (Algeria) & Monder Chaouachi (Tunisia).

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) isDaniel Nii Ayi Laryea from Ghana.

The Assistant VAR is Sarr Babacar from Mauritania whilst the second Assistant VAR is Kenya’s Dickens Mimisa Nyagrowa.
