The squad features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents, with Nigeria’s first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie leading the goalkeeping department alongside Comfort Erhabor and Anderline Mgbechi.
In defence, Madugu has called upon established names such as Tosin Demehin, Glory Ogbonna and Rofiat Imuran, while the midfield boasts a wealth of experience through Rasheedat Ajibade, Halimatu Ayinde, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Toni Payne and Jennifer Echegini.
The attacking line is equally formidable, headlined by six-time African Women’s Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala. She is joined by in-form forwards Gift Monday, Francisca Ordega, Rinsola Babajide and Folashade Ijamilusi.
The friendlies are expected to provide the technical crew with a valuable opportunity to evaluate players, strengthen team chemistry, and fine-tune tactical approaches ahead of the continental showpiece.
With a blend of European-based stars and home-based talents, the squad reflects Nigeria’s ambition to remain a dominant force in African women’s football. The matches against Senegal will offer an important test as the Super Falcons continue their preparations for another bid to reclaim continental glory at WAFCON 2026.
