Goalkeeper Karungi finds new club in Denmark
Ugandan goalkeeper Vanessa Edith Karungi has signed for Danish Club Brondby IF on a two-year deal. The Crested Cranes shot stopper has moved from Nordsjælland following the expiration of her contract.
Karungi joins Brondby who finished second in the League last season, behind eventual Champions HB Koge.
Her first entry to Denmark came four years ago when she joined B93 Copenhagen from FUFA Women Super League entity She Corporate.
Brondby will feature in the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League and will start at the second qualification phase against Ajax next month.
Besides She Corporate in Uganda, Karungi also featured for Olila High School back in 2017.
